Macalister Irrigation District

About the area

The Macalister Irrigation District sources water from Lake Glenmaggie on the Macalister River with lesser volumes coming from the Cowwarr Weir on the Thomson River.

This rural distributions system delivers non-potable water for irrigation and domestic and stock to irrigators.

This system is supplied by Southern Rural Water.
