About the area

The Forest Hill system sources water from groundwater - Forest Hill bores. The Forest Hill system services the townships of Allendale, Newlyn, Smeaton, Kingston, Springmount, Broomfield, and homes in surrounding rural areas.

This water supply is treated for hardness and disinfected, making it a potable water supply.

This system is supplied by Central Highlands Water.
