About the area

The Maryborough system sources surface water from Tullaroop and Evansford/Talbot reservoirs, and groundwater from Moolort bores. The Maryborough system services the townships of Adelaide Lead, Alma/Moonlight, Betley, Carisbook, Craigie, Daisy Hill, Havelock, Majorca, Maryborough, Redborough, Simson/Bet bet, Talbot and Timor/Bowenvale.

Maryborough has a water treatment plant producing potable water for urban use.

This system is supplied by Central Highlands Water.
