About the area
The Bendigo system sources water from Coliban storages via the Coliban Main Channel. It also sources water from Lake Eppalock, Lake Eildon and the Waranga basin via the Goldfields Superpipe. The Bendigo system services the townships of Bendigo, Axedale, Raywood and Sebastian.
The Bendigo system has water treatment plants in Bendigo and Raywood supplying potable water to urban customers.
