Northern Mallee Pipeline

About the area

The Northern Mallee Pipeline supplies rural customers around Ouyen and urban customers in Chillingollah, Chinkapook, Ouyen, Manangatang, Nandaly, Nullawil, Patchewollock, Speed, Tempy, Underbool, Waitchie and Walpeup. It sources water from the Murray River at Wemen, Piangil, Nyah and Swan Hill.

Treatment plants are located at Ouyen and Underbool and chlorinators at Manangatang, Nullawil and Walpeup; water is untreated at Chillingollah, Chinkapook, Nandaly, Patchewollock, Speed, Tempy and Waitchie.

This system is supplied by Grampians Wimmera Mallee Water.
