About the area

Wimmera Mallee Pipeline Supply System 1 sources surface water from Wimmera headworks at Lake Bellfield and/or Taylors Lake. The system supplies rural customers in the southwest Wimmera and urban customers in Pimpinio, Dimboola, Antwerp, Yaapeet, Jeparit, Rainbow and Tarranyurk.

Treatment plants are located at Dimboola and Rainbow and untreated water is supplied at Pimpinio, Antwerp, Yaapeet, Jeparit and Tarranyurk.

This system is supplied by Grampians Wimmera Mallee Water.
