About the area

The Mildura system sources water from the Murray River. The Mildura system services the townships of Mildura, Merbien, Irymple, Cardross, Koorlong, Nicholls Point, Cabarita and Birdwoodton.

Mildura has a water treatment plant producing potable water for urban use.

This system is supplied by Lower Murray Water.
