The Wonthaggi system sources water from Lance Creek. The Wonthaggi system services the townships of Wonthaggi, Inverloch, Cape Pattersion and Lance Creek.

Lance Creek has a treatment plant producing potable water for urban supply.

This system is supplied by South Gippsland Water.
