About the area

The Bacchus Marsh Irrigation District sources water from the Werribee River and the Bacchus Marsh urban distribution system.

This rural distribution system delivers non-potable water for irrigation and domestic and stock to irrigators to the east and south-west of Bacchus Marsh.

This system is supplied by Southern Rural Water.
