About the area
The Casterton system sources surface water from the Konongwootong Reservoir and groundwater from aquifers in the Tullich Borefield. It system services the townships of Casterton, Coleraine, Sandford and Merino.
Casterton has a water treatment plant producing potable water for urban use.
This system is supplied by Wannon Water.
