About the area

The Yea system sources water from the Yea River. The Yea system services the townships of Yea and Molesworth.

Yea has a water treatment plant producing potable water for urban use. Molesworth's water supply is classified as regulated water, meaning it is treated, but non-potable.

This system is supplied by Goulburn Valley Water.
